Emergency Response Training
Emergency response for electric vehicles is not significantly different from conventional vehicles. Electric drive vehicles are designed with cutoff switches to isolate the battery and disable the electric system, and all high-voltage power lines are colored orange. One element of the Electric Ride Colorado campaign is to educate first responders around Colorado to make sure that drivers and first responders are kept safe on our roads while driving and assisting electric vehicles.
