The Fisker Karma is the first and only true production Electric Vehicle with extended range (EVer™). Simply put, that means the Karma is driven only by electric traction motors at all times. An on board range extending gasoline engine drives a generator to power the motors as needed; there is no mechanical link to the drive wheels.
